This policy explains what personal data Gaucho Code, LLC (“GauchoCode”, “we”) collects through gauchocode.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can do about it. If you have a question, write to commercial@gauchocode.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, work email, company (optional) and your message.
- AI Readiness Audit: your work email, company, main business system and, if you add it, what you would like AI to do for you.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Chat assistant: the messages you write in the chat on our site, so the assistant can answer them. Please don’t share sensitive information in the chat.
- Analytics: on the public site we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which collect information about your visit through cookies: pages viewed, device and browser, approximate location and how you reached the site. Google Ads tags measure our campaigns and let us show our ads to people who visited the site.
- Server logs: IP address, browser and the pages requested, which our servers record for security and troubleshooting.
With every form we also record the page you sent it from and the language of the site.
Why we use it
- To answer your message, prepare your audit report and follow up on your request. This is necessary to take the steps you asked for before any agreement.
- To send you our newsletter, based on your consent. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, based on our legitimate interest or, where the law requires it, your consent.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We don’t sell your personal data and we don’t use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Our CRM and marketing platforms (TukiCRM and TukiGrowth), where we manage contacts, requests and the newsletter.
- TukiAssistant, which runs the chat assistant.
- Google, for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- The hosting providers that run our servers.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and Argentina. When they do, we rely on the safeguards the applicable law requires. We may also disclose data when the law or a competent authority requires it.
How long we keep it
- The website keeps form submissions only until they reach our CRM.
- Contact and audit data stay in our CRM while we have a commercial relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and until you ask us to delete them.
- Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ retention settings, which we keep at 14 months.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to tell visits apart, and Google Ads sets advertising cookies to measure campaigns and remarketing. The chat assistant may store a conversation identifier in your browser so the chat continues between pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or turn off personalized ads in your Google ad settings. The site keeps working without them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to commercial@gauchocode.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública in Argentina, the ANPD in Brazil or the supervisory authority of your country in the European Union.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change and show the new date at the top of this page.
